The most popular Amalfi Coast town is Positano. When people discuss the Amalfi Coast, images of Positano's gorgeous shoreline, and colorful buildings built into the cliffside come to mind. The town is often showcased on travel sites and magazines, and is one of the more expensive cities to visit along the Amalfi Coast. Do not leave this town off of your Amalfi Coast itinerary! The Path of the God's is a hiking trail that ends in Positano. This famous trail offers views of Naples, Gulf of Salerno and the Island of Capri. If you begin the hike in Positano, the trail will be mostly up hill. If you prefer, take a ride to Bomerano and begin the trail going downhill.
